We develop the Schoolsgoonline (Software as a Service) App, which is a Web-based Application that enables schools manage their students' records electronically and online. Other services to be integrated include questions banks for teacher to enable them keep and manage questions for subjects they teach, financial records management and student transcripts. We will continue to make upgrades and integrate new services based on our customers’ need. Some services would come attached to already paid services while others would incur extra fees.The Application Users/privileges
- Root Admin: The root admin is the super admin of the system who has the overall control over all the users. This root admin is reponsible for registering other users and assigning them privileges including other admins, teachers, examination officer(s) and admission officer(s). Other functions include managing subjects the school offers to students, school classes, academic sessions and can monitor the activities of other staff.
- Admin: Does everything the root admin does, except that this cannot perform any operation on the 'Root Admin' account and the account can be dropped by the root admin in any point in time.
- Admission Officer: the admission officer registers pupils/students by either inputing them individually or uploading an existing records saved in Microsoft Excel document.
- Teacher: Teachers’ accounts have access to only subjects in classes assigned to them by the admin, where they can manage students' CA Tests and Exams scores.
- Exams Officer: This user automatically view and manage all exams records for all classes in the school (in case some teachers did not do their jobs), make verification of result input by teachers, set how report sheets should appear, how teachers view the input interfaces, how automatic promotions should be handled and download examination results by classes at the end of every academic terms.
- Class Master: Sets class results remarks, make entry of students’ psychomotor skills and take daily class attendance.
